    Digital Desk: As many as five persons were dead and 4 others were injured in a massive fire that broke out in a firecracker factory in Bairagarh village, Madhya Pradesh's Harda district, on Tuesday. The rescue operation is underway, and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) is on the scene with ambulances.

    Rishi Garg, the Harda District Magistrate, confirmed the death toll, stating that the injured had been swiftly transported to hospitals, with several in critical condition. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and ambulances rushed to the site, initiating rescue operations amid the chaos.

    The tragedy garnered national attention, prompting Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to intervene. He coordinated with officials and dispatched key personnel, including Minister Uday Pratap Singh and Additional Chief Secretary Ajit Kesari, to oversee the situation firsthand.

    The magnitude of the explosions reverberated beyond the immediate vicinity, causing tremors felt in the nearby Seoni Malwa area of Narmadapuram. Meanwhile, hospitals in Indore, Bhopal, and AIIMS have been put on high alert, mobilizing burn units and emergency services to accommodate the influx of casualties.
