Kerala leads the country in active cases with 1,249, followed by Karnataka with 1,240, Maharashtra with 914, Tamil Nadu with 190, and Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh with 128 apiece.
Out of the twelve new fatalities, the statistics showed that five were from Kerala, four from Karnataka, two from Maharashtra, and one from Uttar Pradesh.
