'He might destroy nation...': Kangana calls Rahul Gandhi 'dangerous man' for endorsing Hindenburg report

Following the publication of the report, the Sensex dropped by 300 points before making a slight recovery.

Digital Desk: Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has criticized Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on social media for backing the recent Hindenburg investigation, which alleges that the SEBI chief was involved in a major financial scandal. Ranaut, the current MP from Mandi, accused Gandhi of attempting to undermine India's security and economy.

The latest report from Hindenburg Research, a US-based investment firm, alleges that Madhabi Puri Buch, the SEBI chief, and her husband were involved in a money siphoning scandal connected to the Adani group's offshore funds. The Opposition, led by Rahul Gandhi, has brought this issue up in Parliament, calling for Buch’s removal and an investigation.

On Monday, Ranaut, who is an MP from the ruling BJP party, took to Twitter (now X) to denounce Gandhi's support for the report. She described Gandhi as "the most dangerous man," accusing him of having a destructive agenda aimed at destabilizing the nation if he cannot become Prime Minister.

Following the publication of the report, the Sensex dropped by 300 points before making a slight recovery. Ranaut condemned this as an attack on India's economy and criticized Gandhi for endorsing the Hindenburg report. She asserted that Gandhi is trying to destabilize the country’s security and economic stability.

On Monday, taking to Twitter (now called X), Ranaut, who is an MP from the ruling party BJP, attacked Rahul Gandhi’s support for the research. “Rahul Gandhi is the most dangerous man, he is bitter, poisonous and destructive, his agenda is that if he can't be the Prime Minister then he might as well destroy this nation,” she wrote.

On Sunday night, after the issue was raised in Parliament, Gandhi reiterated his concerns on Twitter, sharing a video that questioned SEBI’s alleged role in the scandal. He wrote, “The integrity of SEBI, the securities regulator entrusted with safeguarding the wealth of small retail investors, has been gravely compromised by the allegations against its Chairperson.”
