On 26th November 2008, Mumbai witnessed one of the deadliest terrorist incidents in its
Lucknow: Ashish Mishra, son of union minister of state for home Ajay Mishra was denied bail on Wednesday. Additionally, two more people were arrested in connection with the violence case.
Senior prosecution officer (SPO) SP Yadav informed that Chief Judicial Magistrate Chinta Ram denied the bail petitions of Ashish Mishra and his alleged accomplice Ashish Pandey.
Mishra was arrested on October 9 in connection with the violence case that took place on October 3. The order for the arrest came after 12 hours of questioning by the special investigation team.

While the police sought their custody for interrogation, their attorney denied it stating no recovery is to be done from them. The court further remanded Shekhar Bharti, held on Tuesday, in police custody for three days.
Police have detained four people in connection with the case, including Ashish Mishra, Luvkush, Ashish Pandey and Bharti.
Two BJP workers, a minister' driver and a journalist, were killed in the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Protest during farmer's protest.
