MHA orders CBI enquiry into the death of Sangma siblings

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday issued a CBI enquiry into the suspicious death of Sangma siblings - Rosy and Samuel from Nagaland.

Rosy Sangma, who was admitted to Alpha Hospital in Gurugram, Sector-10 after complaining of extreme pain in her hands and feet followed by excessive bleeding, eventually died on June 24. It is being suspected that Rosy Sangma consumed ice cream in the presence of the doctors and nurses even after knowing that her condition didn't allow her to have any cold objects to eat.

Suspecting medical negligence, Samuel Sangma had an argument with the doctors and hospital staff, as per police records.

A day after Rosy's death, the police got the information that Samuel Sangma has been found dead in the national capital.

The family members of the Sangma siblings have alleged foul play in the death of Samuel Sangma and medical negligence in the case of Rosy Sangma.
