Digital Desk: Days after the BJP's resounding triumph in the Rajasthan assembly elections, the focus shifts to Jaipur where newly elected MLAs are poised to convene on Tuesday.

This gathering at the BJP state office, slated for 4 pm, carries significant weight as it marks the formal election of the next chief minister for the state. The esteemed Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, accompanied by co-observers Saroj Pandey and Vinod Tawde, will preside over the proceedings.

The meticulous preparations for this pivotal meeting have been orchestrated by State President CP Joshi and in-charge Arun Singh. The registration process for the elected MLAs kicks off at 1:30 pm, culminating in the BJP Legislature Party's assembly at 4 pm. Attendance is mandatory for all BJP MLAs, underscoring the gravity of the occasion.

Fueling anticipation, Arun Singh hinted at the possibility of a Dalit leader ascending to the chief ministerial role, cryptically stating, "Everything will be revealed tomorrow." Among the contenders for the coveted position are former CM Vasundhara Raje, and Union ministers Arjun Ram Meghwal, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Observers are set to engage in one-on-one consultations with MLAs before the formal election, adding a layer of deliberation to the process. The BJP, having secured 115 seats out of the 199 contested, stands firmly as the dominant force following the November 25 elections.

Amid swirling speculation, interactions between MLAs and leaders like Vasundhara Raje are viewed as expressions of support rather than overt lobbying, emphasizing unity within the BJP ranks. Notably, Rajendra Rathore hinted at the inauguration of a new "double engine" government in Rajasthan on Tuesday, symbolizing the party's governance both at the state and central levels.
