Digital Desk: As Ayodhya eagerly prepares for the Ramlala Pran Pratishtha program scheduled for January 22, 2024, the buzz surrounding the event intensifies. Invitations are being dispatched far and wide, extending to 4000 saints and 2500 dignitaries, making it a diverse congregation. The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is meticulously overseeing the arrangements to ensure the success of the program.

However, a significant development has emerged as it has been revealed that Chief Ministers and Governors from states other than Uttar Pradesh have not been invited to the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla. The decision appears to prioritize the presence of local leaders, with only the CM and Governor of UP set to attend the grand event. Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, affirmed that extensive preparations are underway, with participants expected from various backgrounds. A total of 13 Akharas, 150 sages and saints from diverse traditions, and Shankaracharyas from six darshan traditions are anticipated to be part of this auspicious occasion.

The focal point of the event will be the consecration in the Ram temple, a grand affair expected to draw a massive gathering of Ram devotees and VVIPs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to attend as the chief host, leading the Pran Pratishtha program and performing the puja. Invitations have been personally sent to key political figures, including Congress President Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Adhir Ranjan Choudhary. A delegation associated with the trust is responsible for extending these invitations, with plans to reach out to leaders of other opposition parties in the coming days.

In addition to the consecration, Ayodhya is set to witness the inauguration of its new airport on December 30, an event that CM Yogi Adityanath has already inspected. Prime Minister Modi will officiate the opening of both the airport and railway station on the same day. Furthermore, the PM is expected to conclude the year with a grand 8-kilometer road show, drawing a crowd of lakhs. The collective festivities in Ayodhya mark a significant moment in India's cultural and religious landscape as the city prepares itself for an array of monumental events.
