Digital Desk: The Uttar Pradesh government has intensified its efforts to transform Ayodhya into a world-class city, with fewer than 45 days till Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Temple. The development of around 178 projects in the holy city would be funded by a fund of Rs 30,500 crores, as declared by the state government. The goal of the change is to make the "temple town" a major city on a worldwide scale.
The Ram temple is being constructed on 2.7 acres at a cost of around Rs 1000 crore. 57,400 square feet is the total built-up area. Of them, the temple is 235 feet wide and 360 feet long. The Ram temple will be 161 feet tall overall, including the summit. There will be three storeys overall, all 20 feet tall.
The temple is being constructed in a way that will prevent the need for maintenance for the next 1000 years. The temple will be a sturdy building that can withstand earthquakes. An earthquake of a magnitude of 6.5 won't be able to disturb the temple's foundation, a TOI report claims. The use of large stones on the walls and the thickness of the pillars are the causes of this. The Ram temple's 50-foot-deep foundation is composed of a variety of materials, including cement and stones. Nowhere in the foundation construction hasthe temple authorities employed steel or iron.
Karm Kshetra, Hanuman Gadhi, Guru Vashishtha Peethika, Bhakti Teela, and Shri Ram Kund will all be present in the Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Temple. Laxman Vatika, Lav Kuch Nikunj, Maryada Khand, Bhaeatr Prasaad-Mandap, Mata Sita Rasoi Annakshetra, Tulsi, Ram Darbaar, Mata Kaushalya Vatsalya Mandap, Ramangan, etc. Along with this, the space will provide amenities for guests' convenience such as an ATM, essential public utilities, medical assistance, a Pilgrim Facility Centre, and multipurpose distribution and operation rooms.
