On January 12, Prime Minister Modi declared he would begin an 11-day special ceremony that would go until Ram Lalla's consecration in Ayodhya. The Prime Minister said he was lucky to be present at what he called a "historic" and "auspicious" event in an audio message that was uploaded on his official YouTube page.
"The Ram temple's 'Pran Pratishtha' has just 11 days remaining. I was made by God to stand in for the Indian people at the consecration. In light of this, I am initiating a unique ceremony that will last for 11 days," he stated in the audio message.
