Digital Desk: The Election Commission of India (ECI) is all geared up for the fourth phase of polling for the Lok Sabha Polls 2024 on Monday.

Polling will take place for 96 Parliamentary Constituencies across nine States and one Union Territory.

All of the constituencies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will vote in a single phase of voting, with the deadline for nominations in Phase 4 being April 25.

Elections will also be held tomorrow for the remaining 28 seats in the State Legislative Assembly of Odisha and all 175 seats in the State Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh.

The ECI claims that to boost voter turnout, polling hours have been extended until 6 p.m. in a few assembly districts of Telangana's 17 parliamentary constituencies.

According to the IMD prediction, phase 4 polling won't be significantly impacted by hot weather. According to the weather forecast, the Parliamentary Constituencies that will be voting on election day will probably have normal to below-average temperatures; there won't be any heat waves in these places.

However, careful arrangements have been made at every voting place for the comfort of voters, including facilities like fans, shamiyana, and water.

As of now, voting in 283 PCs and 20 States/UTs concluded peacefully and smoothly for the third phase of the 2024 general elections.
