A B.Sc. student in his second year at Ranjit Singh College in Indore, Puneet Dubey, age 21, was discovered hanging from the room's ceiling fan. The cops added that he was blindfolded when they discovered him, dressed in a saree and women's cosmetics.
Digital Desk: A student studying for the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) exams was discovered dead in his hostel room on Friday night in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, under suspicious circumstances, reports said.
A B.Sc. student in his second year at Ranjit Singh College in Indore, Puneet Dubey, age 21, was discovered hanging from the room's ceiling fan. The cops added that he was blindfolded when they discovered him, dressed in a saree and women's cosmetics.
Three days later, the incident was discovered when Puneet's neighbors reported to the police that the room had an unpleasant stench coming from it.
Puneet's father, Tribhuvan Dubey, a farmer leader and Udaipura local, stated that his son was a second-year B.Sc. student in computer science who had relocated to Indore two years prior for his studies. Every night, he used to make a call home. Puneet had his final talk with his mother, Vibhuti Dube at 10 pm on Thursday.
Dubey informed investigators that he used to spend his days at the coaching center from 9 am to 9 pm.
It was also disclosed that Puneet's phone was off all day on Friday when the family tried to reach him. They then got in touch with some of Puneet's friends and relatives in Indore. When they got to his room, they discovered that the door was locked from the inside and called the police.
When the police came and opened the door, they came across Puneet's lifeless body.
Puneet's mobile phone and laptop were taken by the police, who also started an inquiry. Puneet's hostel companions are being questioned by the police.
Puneet Dubey's body was brought to Udaipura for his final rituals following the post-mortem.
In order to find out the truth behind his son's death, Tribhuvan Dubey demanded a comprehensive inquiry.
