Digital Desk: Gaurav Gogoi, the Deputy Leader of the Lok Sabha of the Congress Parliamentary Party, issued a severe warning to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah during a joint opposition INDIA alliance protest rally at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Friday.

Gogoi declared that the suspension of 146 Members of Parliament must be addressed and cautioned that the nation may be seriously jeopardized if this action is not taken.

Gogoi stated, "The government is misguided if they think that by suspending 144 MPs, they can sow fear and weaken our commitment. The India Alliance will not submit or be intimidated. We are dedicated to fighting for justice, the disadvantaged, farmers, and the people of India."

Gogoi expressed anger at Home Minister Amit Shah's absence in Parliament and his reluctance to address the matter in a televised broadcast, citing a recent security breach at the Parliament on December 13. "Now is the time to shatter the illusions of power held by the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. Our country is in jeopardy if we choose to disregard the opposition's demands,” he stated.

Gogoi highlighted several examples of alleged injustices, including the division in Manipur, the Haryana wrestler Sakshi Malik's case, and the growing wealth disparity under the BJP government.

He stated, "We have seen how farmers are being targeted and attacked, but today we salute the resilience of our farmers who fought against the three contentious agricultural laws and emerged victorious."

"Even if we might lose, we won't give up. We shall keep moving forward like a flood because the fight is ingrained in our history and DNA. We appreciate everyone's assistance, especially that of the young folks without jobs. Together, we shall prevail, and the INDIA ALLIANCE is confident in that," Gogoi stated.
