PM Shri @narendramodiJi stands firmly with the people of Assam and is committed to providing all possible assistance to the state in these challenging times."

The impact on wildlife has also been severe, with reports of 92 animal casualties and ongoing rescue efforts in Kaziranga National Park. The Brahmaputra River has surpassed danger levels in multiple locations, exacerbating the flooding in districts such as Cachar, Kamrup, Goalpara, and others.
