Digital Desk: The pressure improvised explosive device (IED) installed by the Naxalites at an iron ore mining site in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district on Friday resulted in the death of a 21-year-old worker and the injury of another.
After the incident, authorities claimed that one worker was reported missing.
A senior police officer stated that the event happened at around 7.30 am when three workers were travelling to the Aamdai Ghati iron ore mine, which is situated approximately 350 miles from Raipur.

The explosion was triggered by the workers coming into contact with the pressure IED connection, he said.
He stated that Umesh Rana, who was taken to a nearby hospital, was among the injured and the deceased was identified as Ritesh Gagda
Shravan Gagda, a 24-year-old worker who was with the workers during the event, is currently missing and is being searched for, he said.
