Digital Desk: Pahalgam terror attack victims' families reacted to India's 'Operation Sindoor', targeting Pakistani terrorist infrastructures and killing at least 70 terrorists on Wednesday. The victims' families breathed a sigh of relief after India's tri-services operation, conducted jointly by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, and lauded the forces for the decisive actions.
The families expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces for the strike.
Asavari Jagdale, daughter of Santosh Jagdale, who lost her father in the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, said that she cried a lot after hearing the name of the operation. It was a real tribute and justice to those who were killed by the terrorists, she added.
Ashanya Dwivedi, the wife of late Shubham Dwivedi, who lost her husband in the terrorist attack, said that she wanted to thank PM Modi for taking revenge for her husband's death. Her entire family had trust in him, and the way he replied to Pakistan, he kept their trust alive, she added.
"This is the real tribute to my husband. Wherever my husband is, he will be at peace today", says Ashanya.
A Nagpur survivor of the attack, Tilak Rupchandani, expressed his gratitude to the Indian Army for taking strong action against Pakistan.
Pritam, brother of Bharat Bhushan, a victim of the attack, said that he would always support the government's decision, as terror outfits had been targeted.
Rajesh Narwal, father of Indian Navy officer Vinay Narwal, who lost his son during the deadly terrorist attack, hailed the operation and said the Indian government had done the work.
Sumathi Rao, mother of Manjunath Rao from Karnataka, who lost her son in the terror attack, said that her son's sacrifice did not go in vain. They were hopeful that PM Modi would take suitable action, and he did that, she added.
