In a bold statement directed at PM Modi, Kejriwal challenged the ruling party to arrest whomever they please
Digital Desk: Arvind Kejriwal has thrown down the gauntlet in response to the arrest of his aide, Bibhav Kumar. Accusing the BJP of targeting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by incarcerating its members, Kejriwal announced his intention to visit the BJP headquarters along with AAP leaders and workers tomorrow.
In a bold statement directed at PM Modi, Kejriwal challenged the ruling party to arrest whomever they please, emphasising that he and his party stand united. He lamented the series of arrests, including that of Sanjay Singh and now his aide, Bibhav Kumar, suggesting a pattern of persecution against AAP members.
"Prime Minister Modi, it seems you're engaging in a game of arrest, systematically targeting Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Arvind Kejriwal. Tomorrow at 12 PM, I, along with my party's MPs and MLAs, will gather at the BJP headquarters. Whoever you want to put in jail, you can arrest all of them at once," stated Arvind Kejriwal.
Questioning the motive behind these actions, Kejriwal mentioned the achievements of his government by providing education and healthcare to the citizens of Delhi, saying that the BJP's inability to match these efforts is driving their aggression towards AAP.
Asserting that the BJP aims to quash the AAP by detaining its leaders, Kejriwal affirmed the stability of his party, stating that AAP is more than just a political entity—it is an idea deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
