    ₹20 lakh reward announced for 2 Pakistani terrorists responsible for Poonch terror attack

    Digital Desk: The two Pakistani terrorists responsible for the ambush attack on the Indian Air Force vehicle last week have been identified by the security forces. The forces released sketches of the terrorists and announced a hefty reward for information on them.

     

    The security forces have announced a reward of ₹20 lakh for information that leads to their arrest, according to reports.

     

    The attack, which tragically resulted in the death of an Indian Air Force corporal and injuries to four others, took place when an IAF convoy was ambushed near Shahsitar in the Poonch district. 

     

    The deceased corporal, Vikky Pahade, a 31-year-old from Madhya Pradesh, had recently returned to duty after attending his sister's wedding. The security forces have offered a reward of ₹20 lakh for any credible information leading to the arrest of the terrorists. 

     

    The Indian Air Force and Indian Army are actively engaged in search operations to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of the region.

     

    A post on the official handle of the Indian Air Force (IAF) read, "The CAS Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari and all personnel of the Indian Air Force salute the braveheart Corporal Vikky Pahade, who made the supreme sacrifice in the Poonch Sector, in the service of the nation. Our deepest condolences to the bereaved family. We stand firmly by your side in this hour of grief."
