Digital Desk: The Class 10 board exams at Chandravati School in Tauru block in Haryana’s Nuh, took a tumultuous turn as mass cheating unfolded, leaving a trail of chaos in its wake. A video circulated on social media showcased students resorting to climbing school walls to confidentially pass chits during the examination. The situation escalated amidst allegations of a leaked exam paper, intensifying the already disruptive scene.
Parents accompanying the students outside the exam venue joined the commotion, scaling the walls themselves to aid their children. The District Education Officer, Paramjeet Chahal, promptly ordered officials to submit a report on the incident, underscoring a stern stance against any form of cheating.
Block Education Officer Dharampal reassured that stringent action would be taken against those involved in the cheating episode. He also announced plans to request an increased deployment of police personnel outside examination centres to prevent such incidents in the future.
Amidst the fallout from the incident, the Congress seized the opportunity to criticize the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Haryana. Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra took to social media, commenting on the spectacle of cheating under BJP rule and questioning the integrity of board exams in Nuh, Haryana.
This incident sheds light on the challenges faced by the education system, emphasizing the need for stringent measures to uphold the sanctity of examinations and maintain a fair environment for students.
