    Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared a health coverage of Rs 5 lakh for individuals aged 70 and above, inclusive of the transgender community


    Digital Desk: In a public address at a rally in Rewa, the BJP's national president, JP Nadda, announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared a health coverage of Rs 5 lakh for individuals aged 70 and above, inclusive of the transgender community. 

     

    This commitment aligns with the BJP's manifesto pledge for the Lok Sabha elections, ensuring that the Ayushman Bharat scheme extends its benefits to both senior citizens over 70 and transgender individuals.

     

    Nadda also highlighted PM Modi's transformative impact on politics, emphasising the BJP's developmental achievements, such as the Ladli Laxmi Yojana empowering women and initiatives like 'Har Ghar Jal', which aims to provide water and household taps to every home. Additionally, Nadda praised the progress in electricity provision and housing schemes under BJP governance.

     

    "I want to talk about the Ladli Laxmi Yojana that has empowered women and would like to thank the Madhya Pradesh government for it more than 13 sisters are enrolled in higher education. You will be happy to know that more than one lakh panchayat is now connected to optical fiber," Nadda said, as quoted by the Free Press Journal.

     

    The voting for the Rewa Lok Sabha seat is scheduled for April 26, marking the second phase of the Lok Sabha polls in Madhya Pradesh, which holds 29 constituencies.
