Digital Desk: The National People's Party (NPP), led by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, is in the lead for more than 25 of the 59 Assembly seats. BJP is in the lead in six seats, the TMC in 10, and the Congress in seven seats showing a complex competition in the state.
Timjim K. Momin of the Congress was in second place while Marthon J. Sangma of the NPP was in the lead. Jimmy D. Sangma of the NPP took the lead from Tikrikilla, and Timothy D. Shira of the NPP took the lead from Resubelpara. Rakkam A. Sangma of the NPP was also in the lead in Rongara Siju.
