Guwahati: On the completion of 100 days by the Assam government led by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Assam CM asserted that so far, the people of Assam are satisfied with our work, and it is evident from the people’s happy faces.
Additionally, CM Sarma held a press conference to review the works they have done till now. The high point of the press conference is-
- The beneficiaries of the Orunodoi Scheme will now get Rs 1000 from next month; earlier, it was Rs 830.
- The process to appoint 1 lakh unemployed started from today.
- The Assam government will sign an MoU with the companies to relax the microfinance loan.
- APDCL collected a revenue of Rs 600 crores per month.
- History and Geography will be made compulsory for every student.
- ASTC buses will not run on petrol and diesel. Assam government will bring 200 electric buses and 100 CNG buses.
- Assam is forwarding towards Atmanirbhar in the agriculture sector.
- Every month there will be a cabinet sitting in each district.
- All the buses of Guwahati will run on electricity.
- One-time financial assistance of Rs 10,000 will be given to bus drivers and conductors.
- Priests and Satradhikars Assam will be given financial assistance of Rs 15000.
- The National Education Policy will come into effect from next year.
- Every High school in Assam will be upgraded to Higher Secondary school.
- Every Junior college will have classes IX and X and classes IX, X, XI, and XII under National Education Policy.
- The Assam government will merge SEBA and AHSEC.
- Assam government will set up sports complex in 10 districts.
- The state government has been able to provide vaccine doses to at least 1.5 lakh people per day.
- The State government has successfully enrolled the second wave of covid-19.
- Constructional work of three parks has started in Guwahati said, CM Sarma.
- Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, before August 31, 7 lakhs of houses will be made by the government.
- Assam government has succeeded in bringing peace in the BTC area.
- It is our success that we had brought NLFB into the mainstream said, CM Sarma.
- The Kuki terrorist group will also come to the mainstream, said CM Sarma.
