In the Assam board Class 12 exams, 2,80,216 students are scheduled to participate. Eighty-six centers around the state are going to hold these exams.
Digital Desk: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is all set to conduct the Assam board HS Class 12 final exam 2024 from tomorrow, February 12.
There will be two shifts for the 2024 Assam Class 12 board exams. The first shift or morning shift will be held from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the second shift or afternoon shift will be held from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The exam will start with the English paper on the first day which is scheduled for the second shift.

Education Minister Ranoj Pegu taking to the X wrote, "All government officers and teachers have been duly instructed to execute their responsibilities with the utmost discipline and sincerity. I earnestly urge all parents, guardians, and citizens to extend their cooperation to ensure the seamless conduct of these examinations."
Students appearing for the board exams are required to follow the below guidelines to avoid any kind of inconvenience.
· Students need to have a printed copy of the admit card and a valid ID proof.
· Reach the exam centre at least 30 to 45 minutes to avoid last-minute stress.
· Students will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after the reporting time.
· Pens, pencils, erasers, sharpener, geometry box, and a water bottle will be permitted to carry inside the exam hall.
· Students should also mandatorily check the specific guidelines for allowed items.
· Students should not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators and similar other items inside the exam hall.
· Using any unfair means during the exam will lead to the disqualification of the students from appearing in the exams.
· Students will get 15 minutes to read the questions paper properly and then answer.
