Digital Desk: In a sensational incident, a youth was brutally attacked with cricket bats by assailants in the Jorhat district of Assam, and a bag containing Rs 16 lakh was snatched from him on Saturday.
According to sources, the incident occurred at Marwari Patti in Jorhat. The victim, identified as Mihir Dalmia, was attacked by four miscreants who arrived on two bikes without number plates. Kamal Dalmia is the businessman who owns Jhanvi Textile. The victim was carrying a bag of cash home after closing his shop, and the miscreants attacked the youth and looted the bag of cash.

The victim's eyes and head were severely injured. The road was empty at the time of the accident. The criminals took advantage of the darkness to commit crimes.
After robbing a bag full of cash, the miscreants fled, leaving the bat on the spot.
When the locals saw that Mihir was soaked in blood, they immediately informed Superintendent of Police Mohanlal Meena, his father, and the people around him. Later, SP Meena visited the spot and collected information regarding the incident.
