In stark contrast to the spirit of Mother's Day, a son committed an unimaginable incident by brutally ending his mother's life, setting her ablaze.

The victim, Bina Gogoi, also known as Melangani, met a tragic demise at the hands of her son. The 60-year-old woman fell victim to an act of unimaginable violence, leaving the entire community of Amguri in shock and disbelief.

Eyewitnesses recounted the horrifying scene, describing how they stumbled upon the son, Manas, sitting near the fire with a stick in hand.

Upon inquiry, he chillingly confessed to the heinous crime, stating, "I have burnt my mother," offering no remorse or explanation for his actions.
