Officials reported that her body had been found inside the bathroom and that they had taken her boyfriend into custody in connection with the matter and are questioning him.
Earlier yesterday, a significant uproar erupted following the discovery of man's mortal remains in the Barpeta district of Assam. Reportedly, the body was found in Barpeta's Alopati.
The deceased have been identified as Maminul Haque who was reportedly missing since March 13.
After three days of his missing, his body was found today inside the toilet of his neighbor Abdul Kuddus.
The deceased's family has accused their neighbor Kuddus of killing the victim and keeping the body in the bathroom.
Meanwhile, local police reached the scene after being informed about the horrific and retrieved the body. They have initiated an investigation in connection with the matter.
