Digital Desk: In a shocking incident on International Women's Day, a woman and her 11-year-old daughter were allegedly attacked by a man in Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon district. The accused, identified as Jahidul Haque, attacked his wife Shahera Katun, and their daughter with acid. The accused remains at large following the incident.
The mother-daughter duo, are currently undergoing treatment at Dinaram Memorial Hospital, Abhayapuri.
The condition of the victims remains serious as they sustained serious injuries.
Police authorities have launched a manhunt to apprehend the accused. As per reports, the man attacked his wife and daughter following a domestic dispute. However, the exact reason behind the attack is unknown.
