CCTV Captures Final Moments of 10-year-old Mrinmoy Before His Brutal Murder

Then Jitumoni took the victim to his residence in Bhetapara. After this, he brought a large trolley bag from his house and took Mrinmoy towards Basistha. Jitumoni murdered Mrinmoy in Indira Nagar in Basistha by strangling him to death. He then placed the body in the trolley bag.

During the horrific murder, Jitumani’s phone was connected to Dipali Rajbongshi, Mrinmoy's mother, and one of the accused. Jitumoni and Dipali had been in a romantic relationship for the past 7 years. 

Jitumoni has divorced his wife because of this extramarital affair. Similarly, Dipali had left her husband for Jitumoni.

The killer Jitumoni worked in fourth grade at the AG office. He killed Mrinmoy due to a disagreement between him and Dipali. This was because Jitumoni’s family wasn’t aware of Dipali’s previous marriage. He had introduced Dipali to his family as a young unmarried woman. 

Police have seized his motorcycle, which was used in the murder, from Jitumoni’s house. They also recovered a pair of long pants worn by Jitumoni during Mrinmoy’s murder from his residence. Additionally, police found the T-shirt worn by Jitumoni from a location in Bongaon.

The trolley bag in which Mrinmoy’s body was stuffed and dumped was taken by Jitumoni from his own house. He took Mrinmoy from the Beltola intersection and filled petrol in his bike in Bhetapara. Then he went to his home, took the trolley back, and went to Indira Nagar in Basistha. There, he brutally murdered Mrinmoy by strangulation. 

Dispur Police have already collected all the CCTV footage available, one from the petrol pump and one from the lane of his house.
