IPL Gambling Kingpin Vikas Baria Arrested in Tinsukia

Digital Desk: In a significant development, Vikas Baria, the notorious IPL gambling emperor and kingpin from Assam, has been apprehended by the Tinsukia police. The arrest took place last night/morning at Baria's residence in Tinsukia, where he was taken into custody. 

During the operation, 10,76,300 rupees and mobile phones believed to be used in illicit gambling activities were seized by the authorities. Despite the successful arrest of Vikas Baria, the police have yet to locate his brother, Nitin Baria, who remains at large.

The Tinsukia police have arrested the notorious IPL gambling kingpin, Vikas Baria, from his residence in Tinsukia, Assam. The operation was carried out by a large team of Tinsukia police, including senior officials from the Tinsukia police station.

Baria, who is currently under detention at the Tinsukia Sadar police station, was interrogated by the police. The operation was spearheaded by Tinsukia's Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pulakesh Rabha and Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Paragjyoti Buragohain.
