Digital Desk: Today, lakhs of job aspirants from Assam will appear for the Assam Direct Recruitment, or ADR Class 4 examination. The Class 4 jobs exam is conducted by the Assam State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) to provide eager candidates with an opportunity to get selected for various government establishments and make a stable and well-admired career for themselves.
This way, hazard-free examination can be ensured, and so various examination centers arranged in numerous areas of Assam have been providing substantial arrangements for the smooth conduct of the exam. Various arrangements have been made for local transport through special train services for candidates to reach their respective centers from distant places. The government’s support from the logistical point of view remains one of the key reasons for such recruitment and shows the government's earnestness in helping the candidates in every possible way.
Due to the irregularities of the examination halls, the\ internet services are closed across the state from 8:30 am to 4 pm. This precaution is taken in order to eliminate any form of digital malpractice and to foster a worthy environment for co ducting the exam. The candidates have been urged to follow the instructions from the examination center management and, in addition, carry along with them other documents such as an admit card and ID to be allowed into examination centers.

The final phase of the direct recruitment examination for Class IV has been held in 28 districts of the state today. A total of 13,79,132 candidates have applied for 5,023 posts. This examination will consist of two question papers. The first question paper is for passing the High School Leaving Certificate Examination, and the second question paper is for passing Class VIII.
Around 8,27,130 candidates will sit for the Class IV examination in the morning, and 5,52,002 candidates will sit for the Class IV examination in the afternoon.
