Digital Desk: Tickets for the highly anticipated ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 are set to go on general sale this Friday, marking a significant milestone for cricket enthusiasts across the globe. The cricket extravaganza, touted as the biggest World Cup ever, is scheduled to take place from October 5 to November 19 in India. The event promises to be a grand celebration of the sport, featuring top-class entertainment and showcasing some of the most renowned cricket legends from around the world.
The sale of tickets will commence at 20:00 IST on Friday, August 25, via the official tournament website: https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com. To ensure fair access and accommodate as many fans as possible, ticket sales will be organized in phases, beginning with non-India warm-up matches and non-India event matches.

The World Cup will feature a total of 44 non-India matches across ten venues located in ten host cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune. Additionally, warm-up matches will be held in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram.
The tournament's opening match will be a repeat of the 2019 Final, with England taking on New Zealand. This historic face-off will take place in the colossal cricket stadium located in Ahmedabad, which stands as the largest cricket stadium globally and is expected to provide an unforgettable setting for the inaugural game.
