After the covid-19 scare loomed over IPL 2022, numerous netizens launched the hashtag #CancelIPL2022 and demanded BCCI to suspend or postpone the match immediately for the sake of the players' safety.

However, MI and CSK supporters have joined the trend for a different reason and are supporting the cause of canceling IPL because both clubs are at the bottom of the IPL Points Table and are highly unlikely to qualify for the playoffs; hence Mumbai Indian fans and CSK army are trending memes to Cancel IPL.

For the uninformed, MI and CSK are failing to win games in this year's IPL, finishing at the bottom of the points table after losing 6 and 5 games, respectively.
