According to reports, a few engineers at the corporation have been told to work 12 hours a day, seven days a week as part of the new set of regulations established by the new leader, Elon Musk.
Employees have been instructed to work in the aforementioned shifts in order to fulfil the deadline, since failure to do so may result in termination. According to the reports, individuals have been requested to work extra hours without any conversation regarding overtime or job security.
The deadline was set early this month, just days after Elon Musk took over the company and ousted the previous CEO, Parag Agrawal. He is also said to have sacked a few more Twitter executives.
Elon Musk also made a fresh announcement yesterday, stating that a person would have to pay $8 for its blue tick service. This sparked outrage, and Elon Musk responded by saying, "to all complainers, please continue complaining, but it will cost $8."
According to sources, staff are required to work according to Elon Musk's timetable, and there have been no discussions about job security, overtime, or other issues. The deadline is viewed as an end up making point in their careers.
