Digital Desk: 'Invisibility Shield' brings 'Mr. India' fantasy to life-now available for Rs 69,000.
A startup named Invisibility Shield Co. has made fiction a reality with its invention: a shield capable of rendering people invisible, reminiscent of the iconic abilities seen in the movie "Mr. India." Priced at $828 (around Rs. 69,089), the 6-foot-tall "Megashield" is designed to cloak multiple individuals.
Crafted from environmentally friendly materials and requiring no power source, each shield is waterproof and stands independently. The technology behind the shield relies on ultra-large, precision-engineered lens arrays that redirect light away from the viewer, effectively concealing anything behind the shield from plain sight.
While the shield offers a thrilling prospect of disappearing from view, it's not without its limitations. The technology may create a blurred effect rather than seamless invisibility.
Initially introduced in 2022, the company has recently updated its product to accommodate multiple users and enhance portability, allowing individuals to vanish wherever they desire.
