Digital Desk: Today, around dawn Nepal experienced a 6.1 magnitude earthquake according to the Richter scale. The earthquake epicentral region lay within Sindhupalchowk District in Nepal's Himalayan Central Region.
The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center official website reported that Bhairavkunda in Sindhupalchowk district marked the earthquake center at 2:51 AM (Local Time).
The initial earthquake shook numerous regions in Nepal especially those in eastern and central locations where residents experienced the tremor. Shaking was reported in areas where India and China meet as well as border locations of Tibet.
People of Patna also felt powerful shaking when a 6.1-magnitude earthquake hit the Nepalese district of Sindhupalchok during early Friday hours. The earthquake hit without creating any harm or casualties.
Local authorities continue to investigate the damage situation across regions where the earthquake struck. The incident led to no reported casualties or comprehensive destruction thus far.
