On the helipad of the Burjeel Medical City, 45 Abu Dhabi locals took part in a yoga practise.
Digital Desk: The International Yoga Day 2022 celebrations booted off with a helipad session in Abu Dhabi, UAE, beneath the Strawberry Supermoon.
The event's stunning images have now been released online.
According to Gulf News, 45 Abu Dhabi citizens took part in the yoga session held on the Burjeel Medical City's helipad.
The one-of-a-kind session was part of a series of yoga seminars hosted by health provider VPS Healthcare for YogaFest in advance of the International Day of Yoga on June 21.
John Sunil, the regional CEO of Burjeel Hospitals, said, "We chose to have this programme at night because it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people to try yoga in a different context." "It turned out to be an energising workshop that left the participants feeling revitalised."

Archana Gupta, an Indian expat who took part in the helipad yoga session, described the experience as relaxing.
She further added to her statement, "Although I was unhappy that clouds obscured the Strawberry Moon during the session, I am glad that I could attend this event at night. It was a relaxing experience for me."
VPS Healthcare is also hosting a public "YogaFest" at its locations in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, and Sharjah.
The goal is to get over 2,000 people to come to the seasons all over the UAE.
VPS Healthcare and Burjeel Hospitals to organise a mass yoga event at the Abu Dhabi Cricket Stadium in collaboration with the Indian Embassy and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
