Digital Desk: 'Sacred Games' famed actress Elnaaz Norouzi stripped naked in support of the Iranian demonstrations. She posted a video in which she stated that she is not encouraging nudity, but rather 'freedom of choice.'

Elnaaz was dressed in a burqa at the beginning of the video, which covered her head and face except for her eyes. She then removed the burqa and the headscarf. She covered her burqa with a dress, which was then covered by a denim shirt and pants.

Elnaaz then turned to face the camera while wearing a crop top and shorts. Elnaaz subsequently started to dress in undergarments. Elnaaz removed her bikini top and covered her chest with her hands as the video came to an end.

In the video, the words'my body, my decision' were written, followed by 'if this is your option, it's ok,' 'and this is ok too,' 'your choice, also ok,' 'and so is this,' and 'and this is also ok .' The video concluded with the phrase "woman life liberation."

She wrote in the caption, "Every Woman, anywhere in the world, regardless of where she is from, should have the right to wear whatever she desires and when or wherever she desires to wear it. No man nor any other woman has the right to judge her or ask her to dress otherwise. Everyone has different views and beliefs and they have to be respected."

Elnaaz continued, "Democracy entails the ability to make decisions... Every woman should have control over her own body! (Emojis for muscles and collisions) I'm not advocating nudity; I'm advocating for freedom of choice!" Mahsa Amini, women, free Iran, women supporting women, women empowerment, freedom, freedom of choice, freedom of expression, women, and my body my choice are among the hashtags she used.

Elnaaz's statement expresses solidarity with the Iranian protests that erupted after Mahsa Amini, 22, died in custody after being detained for allegedly breaching stringent Islamic dress standards for women.
