Digital Desk: Addressing a press conference in the early hours of Wednesday at 2 am, Pakistan Information Minister Attaullah Tarar warned of a possible attack by Indian military forces within 24 to 36 hours.
He said that Pakistan had received credible intelligence which indicates a military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours. Tarar termed the Pahalgam terror attack as a 'false pretext' for a strike.
Tarar added that any act of Indian aggression would be met with a decisive response from Pakistan's side. India would be fully responsible for any serious consequences in the region, he said.
He further stated that Pakistan itself is facing terrorism and the country understands the pain of suffering.
Speaking to Geo News on Tuesday, Pakistan Defence Minister Khwaja Asif also warned of an attack from India in two or three days.
This comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave 'complete freedom' to Indian armed forces on Tuesday to respond to the Pahalgam terror attack.
Earlier, PM Modi also warned that India would pursue the terrorists involved in the deadly attack to the "ends of 'the earth".
