eclipse, or Surya Grahan, on October 25 is the year's final solar eclipse.
Parts of Europe, Northern Africa, and western and central Asia will be able to
see the eclipse. Except for some areas in the Northeast, most of India should
be able to see the solar eclipse.
The Moon passes between the Sun and the
Earth during a solar eclipse, preventing some of the Sun's light from reaching
our planet. Solar eclipses are classified into three types: total solar
eclipses, annular eclipses, and partial solar eclipses. The Moon will
completely cover the Sun during a total eclipse. The Moon will not completely
cover the Sun during an annular solar eclipse, but an edge will be visible.

An eclipse never occurs
by itself. A solar eclipse usually occurs two weeks before or after a lunar
eclipse. The solar eclipse that occurred today will be followed by a lunar eclipse
on November 8.
