Carvacrol also aids in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which is induced by cigarette smoking.


    Natural antibiotic: Oregano oil effectively inactivated a variety of pathogenic bacteria and biofilms, regardless of antibiotic sensitivity. It has also been shown to be effective against antibiotic-resistant bacterium strains.
