Digital Desk: Now that Navratri has begun, there is a festive thrill and a sense of devotion in the atmosphere. The third day of the festival, known as Tritiya, is dedicated to worshipping Goddess Chandraghanta, who represents bravery and beauty. The celebration praises Maa Durga in nine various incarnations. She is associated with the colour red, which stands for strength, fervour, bravery, and strength.

Day 3 of Navratri: Puja Vidhi & Shubh Muhurat

Day 3 of Navratri: Significance
According to beliefs, Goddess Parvati started wearing a half-moon on her forehead after her marriage to Lord Shiva. As Chandraghanta, her five left hands hold the Varada Mudra, while her other four hold a Trishul, Gada, Sword, and Kamandal. She holds a lotus flower, an arrow, a Dhanush, a Japa Mala, and an arrow in each of her four right hands. She also holds the Abhaya Mudra in her fifth right hand.
