From Dhanteras to Bhai Dooj, here's a five-day schedule of Diwali celebrations in 2022.

Dhanteras, the first day of the five-day festival of lights, is considered a good day to buy and bring in new metal things, particularly gold and silver.
The five-day celebrations of Diwali are listed here:
October 22nd: Celebration of Dhanteras or Dhan Trayodashi.
On October 22, the Dhanteras puja muhurat will be observed from 07:00 pm to 08:17 pm.
On this day, people worship Lord Kuber and Goddess Lakshmi and buy something new. People buy gold, silver, garments, and electronics as a sign of good fortune, which is considered highly fortunate. This day is dedicated solely to the goddess of fortune.
Narak Chaturdashi, also known as Choti Diwali, falls on October 23.
On October 23, Naraka Chaturdasi, also known as Choti Diwali, will begin at 05:05 a.m. and end at 06:27 a.m.
According to Hindu mythology and tradition, on this day Lord Krishna defeated and eliminated the demon Narakasura.
Diwali falls on October 24th.
On October 24, the Lakshmi puja muhurat will begin at 06:53 p.m. and end at 08:15 p.m. Diwali is the most important festival, when people perform Lakshmi Pujan.
On this day, the main Diwali celebration takes place, as Lord Rama returns to Ayodhya after killing Ravana. People welcome Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, who is believed to bestow luck and fortune to those who worship her.
25th of October: Govardhan Puja
The muhurat for Govardhan Puja runs from 06:28 to 08:43. A day after Diwali, Indians celebrate Govardhan Puja, a day dedicated to worshipping Lord Krishna.
People think that Lord Krishna raised the mountain known as "Govardhan" to protect the citizens of Mathura from Lord Indra.
26th of October: Bhai Dooj
The last and most important day is known as Bhai Dooj or Bhau Beej, which honours the unique relationship between brothers and sisters.
On October 26, Bhaiya Dooj is observed. The Aparahna time on this day runs from 01:12 pm to 03:26 pm. Similar to Rakshabandhan, it is observed on the second day of the lunar calendar's Shukla Paksha.
