2 arrested for firing at Salman Khan's Mumbai home

The two men who came on a motorbike fired four rounds outside Bandra's Galaxy Apartments, where the actor lives, on Sunday morning at around 5 am and fled.

Digital Desk: Two gunmen who fired at superstar Salman Khan's residence in the city on Sunday have been taken into custody by Mumbai police, according to officials.

Sagar Shrijogendra Pal and Vicky Sahab Gupta, both from Bihar, were taken into custody Friday night in Bhuj, Gujarat.

Around five o'clock on Sunday morning, two men riding a motorcycle arrived to the actor's residence in Bandra and opened fire four shots before making their getaway.

The accused both had bags and wore headgear, according to the CCTV footage. They were also seen firing towards the actor's house in the video.

In order to go to Mr. Khan's house, the accused purchased a used bike in the Raigad area. Having lived in Panvel for the previous twenty-two days, they rode that bike to Mumbai.

Police reports claim that both men are members of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Due to his involvement in multiple high-profile murder cases, including those involving artist Sidhu Moose Wala and Rajput politician and Karni Sena commander Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, Bishnoi is presently being held in Tihar Jail.

Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, claimed responsibility for the gunshot incident outside Mr. Khan's home after it happened. He described it as a "preview" and warned the Bollywood actor in an online post.

The motorcycle belonged to a man who lived in the Panvel neighborhood of Navi Mumbai and was found abandoned close to Mount Mary Church, which is a little over a kilometer from the actor's residence, according to officials.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Panvel Ashok Rajput stated that the man had lately sold the two-wheeler.

Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, has contacted the actor with a promise of unshakable support and a pledge to obey the law.

Following the incident, Salman Khan's security squad now has extra members, according to the police. Additionally, before leaving his residence, the actor has been required to notify the Mumbai Police. It's been suggested that he stay at home unless something urgent comes up.
