days, heavy monsoon rains in northern and eastern India have caused flash
floods and landslides that have killed dozens of people and left many more
missing. Over the past three days, at least 50 deaths have been reported in
Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Odisha, according to the news agency
