The poisonous fumes caused the victims to lose consciousness. They later died from suffocation.

Digital Desk: A family of six in Delhi's Shastri Park area died of asphyxia after inhaling poisonous gas from a mosquito coil that had been left burning overnight.

A mosquito coil that was on fire landed on a mattress inside the family's home during the night, according to the preliminary investigation. The victims became unconscious as a result of the toxic fumes. They later suffocated to death.
