Digital Desk: Aaftab Poonawala, the man accused of killing his live-in partner Shraddha Walker, used to put makeup on the woman's severed head, a police source has quoted. The man had chopped the woman's body into 35 pieces, which he then placed in a refrigerator he had brought just for the purpose. He also kept the head inside the appliance.
Poonawala, a call centre employee and Instagram food blogger, is currently in police custody. Reportedly, he has admitted to the police that he talked with the severed head and put makeup on it. However, the police have made no official statements about this.

Aaftab allegedly murdered her three days after moving in on May 18, while she was pressuring them to marry.

After the murder, Aaftab stored the chopped body inside the fridge. He reportedly took a girlfriend to the same flat days after the murder and had sex there. He met her through a dating site.
Shraddha and Poonawala had met through a dating app in Mumbai. They started dating. However, the relationship was not supported by their families. She was not on good terms with her family, which is why her murder went unnoticed for six months.
Vikas Walkar, Shraddha's father, has accused Poonawala of engaging in "love jihad."
