New Delhi: It's been more than 15 days since the Diwali celebrations in India. However, Delhi still witnesses air quality at 352 rates, which is termed as 'very poor' by the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research SAFAR-India.
On the one hand, the temperature is continuously dropping in Delhi-NCR. Another way, the air quality is dropping due to pollution. Delhi government has taken multiple steps to control air pollution. However, the bad condition of air pollution remains constant.
Today marks the end of such restrictions imposed by the government to check the pollution. With the latest report of ranging air quality as 'very poor, the government plans to review the restrictions again.

Today, the Delhi government will review these restrictions given the pollution situation. Meanwhile, Environment Minister Gopal Rai will continue a high-level conference and review meeting upon the current air quality situation.
Last week, Minister Rai stated that his department issued a notification for efficient implementation of the contingency measures issued by the city administration to tackle air quality.
Various areas in Delhi experience much higher levels of pollution than the daily average index value shows. For example, between November 1 and 21, Delhi listed its average AQI in the critical zone (between 400-500) for 8 days, related to 14 critical days in Anand Vihar and 11 such days in Bawana.
