    Digital Desk: On Friday night, a 6-year-old child was killed in a suspected leopard attack near Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The incident occurred while the girl was going down a street in Alipiri.

    According to local sources, the girl, Lakshita, set out on a walk towards Tirumala at 8 p.m. on Friday, and the event occurred as she was walking towards the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.

    The event was reported to security personnel and forest officers.

    "It is reportedly a leopard attack," forest officials stated. We have no idea which animal killed the infant. We are looking into the situation."

    Police have also stated that they are investigating the incident.
