Captain Shiva Chouhan, a Bengal Sapper from Rajasthan, serves in the Indian Army's Fire and Fury Corps. She holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and will be in charge of a variety of combat engineering jobs at the Siachen Glacier. Chouhan was admitted into the Siachen Glacier on January 2 after a difficult ascent. The Fire and Fury Corps announced the news on Twitter, along with photos of the valorous officer.
