Common Political Strategy: CM Arvind Kejriwal Enjoys Meal at Residence of Auto Driver; What are Your

Chandigarh: Following the trend of having a meal with commoners by political leaders of the nation, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal too had dinner at a house of an auto-rickshaw driver here on Monday.

Reportedly, during his two-day visit to Punjab for the upcoming assembly election, Kejriwal received a dinner invitation from an auto-rickshaw driver. The invitation was extended to him while Kejriwal was addressing auto-rickshaw drivers in Ludhiana on Monday.

Following the request during Monday night, Kejriwal and his party colleagues MP Bhagwant Mann and MLA Harpal Singh Cheema were seen having dinner at the auto drivers house.

After dinner, Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi, "Dilip Tiwari invited us from his heart to his house for dinner today. His family gave us so much love. The food was very tasty. I have invited his family to eat at my home in Delhi."

The post already received over 1,000 likes and tons of reactions from the netizens.

Netizens appreciated Kejriwal's gesture towards the commoners. One of the user wrote, "I was so happy when auto driver (Lali) touched your cheek. Blessings.", while another wrote, "Touched by your sweet gestures towards the auto driver."

On Monday, while addressing a meeting, CM Kejriwal announced that Rs. 1,000 per month will be transferred into the accounts of all women in Punjab if Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) comes to power in the 2022 Assembly polls.

Notably, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma recently spent a night and had dinner at Bangshidhar Payeng's residence at Majuli.

Moreover, Indian National Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also had a meal at the residence of a tea garden worker during her election campaign in Assam. Priyanka also plucked tea leaves with the workers and spent candid moments with a baby of a tea garden worker.

Notably, it seems that all the political parties are trying to emotionally trigger the common people to get the number of votes in the election. It has become a political strategy for all the parties to visit the house of commoners and have a meal with them.

What are your thoughts about this political strategy used by the political parties?
