Delhi liquor policy scam: BJP demands CM Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation, stages massive protest
Kejriwal has rejected the ED's accusation, claiming that the cases it has brought are "false" and are being used by the Center to "topple" governments and purchase MLAs.

Digital Desk: Following the ED's inclusion of Arvind Kejriwal in a charge sheet in the excise scam case, Delhi BJP leaders and supporters staged a protest on Saturday outside the AAP office here, calling for the resignation of the chief minister.

Kejriwal should resign from his position as chief minister of Delhi, according to state BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has mentioned him in its charge sheet regarding the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government's involvement in a liquor scandal.

The AAP was unable to respond right away to the accusations.
The "corruption" of the Kejriwal administration, which Sachdeva claimed at the rally is weakening Delhi like a "termite," will continue to be exposed by the BJP.

Kejriwal needs to step down right away if he still possesses any morality, he said.

Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, the leader of the opposition in the Delhi Assembly, claimed that the ED charge sheet now proves what the BJP has long claimed: that the liquor scam was carried out with Kejriwal's protection.

A portion of the purported Rs 100 crore in "kickbacks" earned by the revoked Delhi excise policy, according to the ED's supplemental charge sheet, allegedly went toward the AAP's 2022 Goa assembly election campaign.

A close assistant of the Delhi chief minister is also said to have set up a Facetime video connection for the accused Sameer Mahandru. Facetime is a video calling feature for iPhones.

According to the ED, during the call, Kejriwal told Mahandru that the assistant was "his son" and that he should trust and stick with him.

Kejriwal has rejected the ED's accusation, claiming that the cases it has brought are "false" and are being used by the Center to "topple" governments and purchase MLAs.
